A TASTE OF HISTORY

February 25, 2020 - Immediately following Tuesday Night Bible Study

Participants are needed - We are looking for old time dishes that mama and grandma use to cook: corn bread, skillet bread, black eye peas, greens, squash, pig feet, pig ears, chicken, neck bones, and desserts.

YOUTH FUNDRAISER

The Youth Department has kicked off their Coco Cola Fundraiser. We are asking/requesting all to support them in their venture to support the Washington DC trip in June. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Sisters Michelle Jackson or Felicia Padgett.

KITCHEN VOLUNTEERS

The kitchen committee needs help on the 3rd Sunday. We really ned your help. Thank you, the Kitchen Staff.

CHURCH DIRECTORY

The Church Pictorial Directory is now available. There is a $10 donation for anyone that would like to obtain a copy. Please see a United Voices Choir representative in the Family Life Center following the 8 am and 11 am services. If you or your family are not in the directory, feel free to get one also.

THE MISSIONARY SOCIETY

The Missionary Society is celebrating Black History Month with a non perishable food drive for the food pantry. Beginning on the first Sunday in February, please place non perishable food items in the box in the vestibule. Thanks in advance for your support. - The Missionary Society.

COMPUTER CLASS

The computer class for Microsoft Excel has begun. If you would like to join, class is on Wednesdays beginning at 630P. The sign up sheet is in the vestibule.

LAYMEN'S MINISTRY

In conjunction with Black History Month, the Laymen's Ministry will present "Pathway to Freedom/No Menthol Sunday" this is a seminar that combines knowledge regarding the history of smoking among African Americans, smoking cesation, and relapse prevention. This is a free seminar to be held on February 15, 2020 starting at 10A - 12:30P. Lunch will be served. For more information, please contact Deacon Bryant.

WOMEN'S MINISTRY

Women of CFC, please join us for a Tea Party on February 22, 2020 from 10A until Noon in the Family Life Center. Come and fellowship with us and see what the ministry is all about. Thank you in advance - 2020 Women's Ministry
